Hello!

I was a freshwater kid till my teens and then I stopped with fish altogether. Now in my 30's i started a 20g tank about a year ago, then upped it to a 37g, then I found a 65 g on Craigslist for cheap and decided to give saltwater a try. I am now a little over a month into it and have a smoothly running system so far. I'm using a hang on 75g filter, a remora pro skimmer with the pre skim box, which I drilled a hole in to prevent it from running dry, a 3" sand bed, and 60lbs of live rock. I put in the obligatory clown fish, and two red banded gobies to start after the tank had cycled. They are well and seem happy. I have been tearing through tons of posts to get my tank going, and wanted to thank you folks for the site, and to say hi!

 

Welcome to 3reef. I'm in the precess of setting up my first SW tank(75g) that I too fouind on craigslist for a great price. This is a great site for help.
