Hello, my name is Cheyenne, and I am new to 3reef. I like to draw/paint, play League of Legends, and sit in front of my current tank and just stare at my fish. I find fish as captivating as ever, and while in my younger years I have lost more fish than I have fingers and toes, I am always drawn back into their watery realm.

I have been taking care of fish ever since I was 8 years old. Although my experience is primarily with goldfish, I've started to dip my toes into the saltwater realm, just getting set up and ever so eager to start (while avoiding new tank syndrome ofc).

So far I have a 30 gallon Freshwater tank up and running with 4 goldfish, a molly, 2 white clouds, 2 cat fish, a pleco, 2 dwarf frogs, and a female betta. The tank I am aiming to start now is a 120 gallon Saltwater aquarium. So far I have the tank, two Koralia hydro-pumps and 3 medium sided Pukari (hope I spelled that right) dry rock. For that tank I plan on using the Herbie Method. Simple in my opinion for a beginner like me to install, and not too hard to trouble-shoot problems.

My main problem now is that once I get it established; while I want to have a Predator tank, I also want cute little garden eels. But as far as where to start I am not sure. I know a clown is good to start off salt tanks, since they are very hardy fish, but since I want a predator tank I don't know what my next option should be. .-. Anyhow I look forward to exchanging tank stories with everyone, and learning new tips of the art ^^

Welcome yo 3reef cheyanne. A 120 is a nice tank. As you start building you'll figure out what you want to keep. Predator tanks require good filtration since there's more of a mess at feeding. Cant wait to see the tank build start.
