    Hi Everyone,

    My name is Steve. I currently have only freshwater fish tanks (Cichlid, Cichlid Fry, and Planted tank). In a couple weeks I will be indulging in my first saltwater tank, a 20 gallon long. I plan on stocking it with a Percula or Ocellaris Clownfish pair, Goby/Pistol Shrimp pair, and various inverts and a few corals, once the tank has established nicely. I will be using a HOB Protein Skimmer, ATO System, Current USA Marine LED light with two LED bars (once I venture in to the corals), Hydor Nano 425 powerhead, and a standard heater. I do not plan on having any mechanical filtration besides the protein skimmer. Once the tank has established a little, setting up a HOB refugium using the Marina HOB breeder sounds appealing to cultivate various pods and macro algaes.

    My tank and I are looking forward to all of the advice we can gather from the forum!

    Sounds like a great setup, I also say go slow but imo with that light and the clowns I would skip the anthelia zenia and gsp and go with some Euphelias, acans and a nice bubble tip nem. Just watch it around the corals.
