    I just wanted to say hello and get my first post out of the way all at the same time. I'm new to this hobby and I am currently setting up my first reef tank. It is a 55g with as many homemade parts as I can manage at this point in time. Still using some LR and Damsels to cycle it and I've just finished building a version of Covey's overflow (Thanks for the info!) I'll be trolling around in here and asking a ton of questions in the future.

    I myself just got done setting up a 55 gal for my first saltwater tank. Welcome to 3reef, the people here will help you out a bunch. I have spent many nights reading and reading and reading to make sure I was doing the right thing with my tank. Just like Matt say "Go slow and let it grow" Again welcome to the family, your fish family.
