    hi everyone , i am new to the fish world. i got my 10 yr old son a red sea max for his birthday . i use to have tropical fish years ago and always wanted marine fish for myself but never could justify spending the extra for the reef system. typical mum spends it on her son though. anyway i thaught i should have a look on here because all the info the shops want to tell me is confusing the **** out of me.:confused:

    Welcome to 3reef and congrats on getting your kids in on this hobby. My father brought be home a 20 gal when I was 15 and I have had a tank ever since. Going on 24 year now and I thank my father all the time, it has been a wonderful experience.
