    Hello Everyone :)
    Getting ready to set up a new tank. I had one about 10 years ago so I've been out of it for a while. The new tank will be 300 gallons, 57"l X 34w X 36"H. I've been lurking around for the past couple of weeks, great forum by the way ;D, trying to figuring out the lighting. I was either thinkning to go with four MH's (the tank will be seen on both front and back and one side, a room dividing I guess you can say) So the rocks will be stacked in teh center of the tank giving room on both sides for the fish as well as coral on both sides. Now I'm just trying to figure out if I can get away with 250's or if I will have to go with 400's.

    with a 36" deep tank, will need 400w-1000w metal halides.

    400w being good for up to 36", 1000w good for up to 48"
