I'm new to this site so I thought i would say, Hi! I have a 24gallon aquapod. I have a couple pieces of live rock in right now I'm just getting going. After about a week i added a blue damsel and it died two days later:(. I have no idea why it died. Temperature and salinity was right on. But anyways i just thought i'd say Hi!

Welcome and here comes the welcoming crew. YOu better get some pics and parameters. How long has your tank been up and running and what else do you have in your tank? Tell us all about it. That is the only way we can help you if we know more!

Welcome to 3reef. Patience and research will save you lots of stress. Not too sure on the damsel because many people cycle tanks with them. I would guess either acclimation issue or you tank already has high ammonia/nitrates and the change from clean LFS water to yours instead of putting him in the first day or two and letting the levels come up with him in the tank.. Anyways Welcome again!

Oh and pics will be expected soon, just giving you a heads up before Luna finds out.

Hello and welcome aboard:wave: You have any test kits......if not, you need em'. That's how you'll know what's going on in your set-up.

Hello back atcha! Welcome to 3reef!

Sounds to me like you are still cycling and the ammonia was just too much for it. Did you acclimate it or just drop it in the tank?;)

    and where is LUNA?????

It sounds like a simple case of innapropriate parameters to me;D Give your tank a bit more time and meanwhile like I mentioned, get yourself a test kit or take some water from your tank to your LFS and ask them to test it for you. Good luck with your tank!
