I am new to this board but not to the hobby. Not much into writing unless motivated by an idea ;D

Hi Luna, it's a bit early for picures. Just upgraded from my mini 12 gallons to my new, couple of weeks old, 90 gallon. Not quiet done yet to get it all on the picture but I promise this board will be the first to see them :)

Early in the day or early in your set up? Either way, thats nonsense. Its never to early to take pics as progress grows. BTW, great choice on the 90;) Luna

Wow talk about a grand welcome :cheesy: Thank You Suzique. I've just upgraded to a new 90 (48x18x28) gallon custom acrylic tank with euro framed top. These things are a lot of work to cobble together. It's plumbed with two inch overflow drains and four return pipes driven by an Iwaki 30rlt pump. 8x54w t5 lighting, master temperature control for heating and cooling (don't have a cooler yet). Live stock includes assorted softies, i.e. polyps, leathers, frog spawn, torch, clam, ect. For fishes, maroon clown, blue damsel, two black and white damsel, two royal grammas, orchid dottyback, heniochus, yellow tang, jawfish. The entire system is plumbed to two external sumps loaded with coral rubble and chaeto and set to light at alternate cycle times within 24hrs with 4 hours of overlap from 12am to 4am. For now, I decided not to hook up my Octopus 200 recirc skimmer; letting the chaeto do all the work. Pictures will be coming in the near future :)

;D OK I'll see what I can do. On second thought I am going to add the skimmer inline with the sumps due to required heavy feeding for the fishes. Then I still have to prepare the 50 gallon salt water mixing drum in the basement which will be pumped upstairs for water changes. And a few probes i.e. ph, orp, ect. From various research I was under the impression that there was a specific "safe" Heniochous that was reef safe: Don't believe it folks, save some grief :-/ Mine is nipping around the tank especially the zooas and last night he was showing more interest at my clam. No matter how much experience I've got I still manage to make huge mistakes. But OK I'll just let things play out and see how the chips fall in place for now :p
