hello, i am planning on setting up a 125 fowlr tank so i figured i would join since i have alot of question/ideas. i have already started a 20 gallon long reef tank and have found i enjoy fish more then i do corals and figured that i should start tank with only fish. after looking around already i have found that a fowlr tank is better idea then a fo tank since i not much for maintaince. well just say hello

    thanks mike

lol...i am looking into the t-shirt...well first off is the filtration i have been looking around for awhile and find mix results about goin with filtration either wet/dry sump with a refugium and skimmer or just go with sump full of live rock with some refugium stuff it with a skimmer...just wondering what you guys think would be the best way to go with that...im looking to setup a tank that doesnt need much maintaince

    welcome to 3reef.

the best way to go i think is a great skimmer with a refugium for nitrate and phosphate export

fuges will also help remove ammonia and nitrite too
