    Hello. I am new here. I was searching for help with my goldfish. I have a 10 gallon fresh water tank with filtration and aeration. I have only one goldfish that I have had for 8 years, no other fish. I am a complete novice but have had this one fish for a very long time. I don't think I have even done a threaded discussion like this before. I guess that is all.

    need advice

    This 8 year old goldfish has a problem. I believe it is fin and tail rot. I need help. What forum should I go to?

    Diseases would be a good choice r cobble

    although at 8 years of age your fish may just be showing signs of ageing rather than any specific problem

    8 years is a credit to you IMO

    I think fish, in general, when they get old (to them), their immune system starts to tank, their eating slows down, etc. That's a pretty old goldfish.

    A pic would be nice too ;D
