    Converting 46 gal bf from fw to sw, of which I know very little. I have plans to use 20 gal sump with marine pro skimmer. Thinking of 50lbs lr, 60lbs of ls that's where I'm headed for now. These forums are a lot of help.

    The biggest difference is learning Marine chemistry. But you will cycle and add things slowly. Plenty of time to read up about chemistry. Your plan sounds good so far.
