Well, I am fairly new to the reef-tank hobby. Set up a 10 gallon 'test tank' and it went really well, so I upgraded to a 25 gallon. I have 15lbs of live sand and about 20lbs of live rock. I have been collecting corals and inverts more so than fish. Currently I have some xenia, a couple mushroom polyps, some toothed corals(??), a leather coral and a few others. My inverts include a blue legged and orange neon(??) hermit crabs, a bunch of snails, a harlequin shrimp (he's been around since the beginning, happily), and some newly discovered nudibranchs, which makes me a little worried about my corals. I got really lucky with the fish part though; the first five fish were free. I had, not at the same time, a false perc, a bicolor blenny, a chromis, and a couple of damsels. They have all since passed and I bought my first fish a couple of weeks ago (two chromis, one has since died...). I am planning on adding a medium sized maroon clown and anemone pair, a red firefish, and hopefully a psychedelic mandarin goby.

Thanks for reading, I look forward to all the help everyone can give!

Welcome to the 3reef fam. How long has your tank been set up. What type of light system are you running? You are going to need. a good pods population to keep the manderin happy.

    Oh yea, pics are mandatory.

    Welcome to 3reef....

It sounds like a lot of dead fish to me... Can you tell us more about your tank? How long has it been set up? Filtration system? Lighting? Tests results? Pictures are always helpful.
