Help a 3reefer out :(

Hey 3reef family,

Im broke. Im a reefer. Who woulda thought.

Im 17 years old and in school so i can't make money. I do little jobs here and there for cash. I need lighting but obviously can't afford a 600$ HQI setup.

Im just askin if any of you have old lighting or are upgrading (or downgrading) and would like to offer a 3reef discount that would be insanely appreciated.

Ive got a 100 gallon thats 60 inches across and my wimpy old 4x54w wont support any of my corals.

lol i would but im in same spot you are.. and by same i mean im also 17, ( i do work but i dot earn much since its only 2 days for my dad) and i have a 150 who needs lights for coral.. i would help if i could though. but here is a bump to your thread. and i also recommend corals that dont need lights so you can have something in your tank. sun corals are awesome.
and you should search craigslist maybe you get lucky and find something good.

hang in there.. your chance will come. meanwhile look for the lights you need so you get the right things. research.
lol im probably not getting my lights till may or june or God knows when. but meanwhile i need to wait for corals.. Patience is hard to have sometimes.

im also looking into corals that dont need lights. they are pretty cool. IMO. that way ill have some life in my tank other than fish.
