    i can not shift then they are equally apart and the refletors are those octigon? type
    i wish the corals could be moved

    Is it a single unit or are they pendants? sorry I didn't ubderstand your last post?

    thank you all guess i will leave it be i am glad you are all here :)

    oh and the reflectors are pendant i guess two seperate and not the bat wing type so the light is focused down and the are as far apart as i can already

    Good question, I'm sure they are a little different but not sure how. I think I'll see if I can google that and find out. Maybe they use thick glass?

    Tatted after a quick search it looks like they use thicker glass on rimless tanks hence the greater cost, this may not be the only factor, but I guess it makes sense because you would have that much more surface area in the corners to bond together.

    food for thought....

    Also would be risky trying to make your own brace... need the right amount of resistance
