I have 3 fungia plate corals in my tank .1 orange 1 green and 1 that's a purple long tentacle. My problem is I have what looks like brown hair algae growing on them. It seems to get worse daily... I do water changes bi-weekly and use phososorb monthly... What can I do for this?? or what would eat this. My lfs suggested a emerald crab or maybe a dwarf hermit crab which I did take out of my refugium and did put back in the main tank(the dwarf hermit crab).. Any help would be greatly appreciated . i will work on picss.........

I WAS IN A RUSH SORRY FOR NOT POSTING IN ALGAE FORUM...:-/

Algae will not grow on a healthy coral. Could be that your plate is having tissue recession issues and the algae is taking advantage of it.
