    my blue hippo cant eat she tries but cant catch the frozen brine. her stomach is sunken. im worried please help. what can i do? she picks at the rocks but she doesnt eat off them. its like she tries but just cant. working on picks now.

    I think most likely cause is internal parasites.

    She is very skinny, bummer. You can try to deworm her but honestly she looks pretty bad.

    Are you giving her any marine algaes like nori?

    Not sure about this cbs3315
    but if it where mine
    I would try nori sheets (clipped so it cant get away from the fish)

    and I would add something like Selcon or other HUFA/ Vitamin enriched liquid additive to the sheet allowing it to soak in, before placing the nori in the tank

    If you can get her to maybe eat some romaine lettuce, soaked in vitamins it might save her.

    Wish I could help more, maybe someone else has some better ideas.

    will these parasites effect my other fish or just the hippo

    Just google Selcon, I would imagine that fosters and smith has it.

    Internal parasites can spread but most fish live fine with them, when the fish becomes stressed for some reason the parasites are able to gain a foot hold and malnutrition sets in.

    Was she eating normally before.
