well maybe some good news she has been out and about now almost all day. she is eating omega one marine flakes with garlic but not very much. but she seems to be more active. she still looks bad but i am starting to feel a little better seeing her eat a little. have noticed now she is starting to scratch against the rocks though. could this be something new or just part of the same problem?

Tangs are notorius for contracting Marine ICH especially if they are stressed. When u got her did u quarantine her at all? Are there any white or black spot on her, sometimes they rub the rocks to dislodge the parasite. Some updated closeup pics might help.

there are no spots on her. she is just in real bad shape. she was eating a little yesterday but today she is not. its like she wants to but for some reason just cant. actually im suprised she is still alive. she looks worse than she did the other day. i will post updated pics when my wife gets back with the camera. her face is starting to look bad. i just cant figure out why she cant eat. its like she might be blind or something. she can smell it and goes to the food like shes gonna eat it and misses it. i dont have a quarantine tank but i did drip acclimate. she gets around great. she doesnt wobble or swim sideways so could it be that she is just blind?

I agree hole in the head disease ( Laterial Line Disease ), related to nutritional problems most likely with this fish. IMO she need to be de-wormed, if she has any hope at all.
