I'm in the process of building my new setup. My tank is a 30 x 30 x 24 cube.

I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what light would be best for softies, and some SPS's.

My other 2 tanks are all T5's but was thinking MH. 250 or 400? I just not sure what would be the best.

    Thanks in advance,
    Shane

thanks, I'll look at the lumen bright.

Do you think the Mini or the large would be better?

What about adding t5's as well? Or think just the Mh will be good?

A 8x54W T5HO from ATI will be most effective in the tank.

You will need 2 MH fixtures possibly to fill out the tank. T5 may be needed depending on your bulb choice.

Been reading today. Looks like several people have used the Lumen Bright on the 93gal cube. I was thinking a 20k bulb on a 400watt would keep me from needing anything else.

But I'm still not sure that I can't use a 250watt and still be ok.

Get one of the galaxy select a watt ballasts, that way if you do want to go down to 250, if the 400w is to much you can. Also if you do go with the 400w the radium 20k looks amazing in 400w.

With the depth you don't need any more than a 250W MH. Most don't use T5 supplementation with 20K bulbs

I'm looking at the 250 and 400. Trying to decide on Large 20x20 or the small 15x15 pendant in 250 or 400.

Also looking for best price on one.
