Help clown not happy!

Just to clear up the matter i do NOT have a anemone for my clowns! im going to leave it for at least 6 months

 

I see you've done research, good for you, K+! ;D Even six months is considered on the young side for an anemone

 

I forgot that the tank was that young. My mistake on that point, sorry.
My clown acted very odd after losing his first anemone. After 3 weeks of not having one, he resorted to hosting on a big patch of GHA on my rock. It was pretty sad to see. As soon as I put the new anemone in the tank, my clown went nuts, like a kid with a new puppy. Maybe it's a case of coincidence or a special case, but he looks more at peace with the anemone now since that is his safe haven now.

 

How are the clowns now? Have they acclimated to the new water conditions? I would expect they have or will eventually. Hardy creatures they are and I am sure they will adjust fine. Your acclimation procedure was fine. They just have the new tank syndrome IMO. Give it a few days.

 

The clowns are fine, full off fun & all over the tank !. Feeding like they have never been feed in there lives!;D
