Help clownfish in trouble!!

I've already had an eel and grouper with my clownfish but had to bring them back to my LPS because they got to big. They lived were very happy in my tank and were never a problem.

 

Is it normal for them to stay in one corner for 19 hours?

 

The big thing i'm wondering is if the Fluval and protein skimmer going to be enough?

 

Well, the big thing I'm wondering is if your LFS took your other 2 fish, will they be nice enough to 'hold' your clown since it's that important to you.....
The next big thing though, you're right on track about. Filtration. You never mentioned what size your skimmer is, but simply having one at this point is great. For refference, you usually want something twice the rate of the total water volume in your system. I.e. If you have a 55g tank, I would get a 100 gph skimmer, but if you have a 90g tank, and a 55g sump, I would get a 300 gph skimmer.
For the fluval, I've never used one and don't plan on it, but if I were you I would get another 50 lbs of base rock, or live rock cured, and wait a month until I put any fish in the tank. This way you give the system time to grow it's own filter with anaerobic bacteria.
You've done this before, so you're comfortable with SW tanks, but to me it seems you sort of rushed to new upgrade here.

 

OK I just checked the ammonia and it's 0.03 ill do a water change and try an ammonia detoxifier I have to get rid of the other ammonia but my clownfish is still acting weird I can upload another video if you want.

 

Wait your ammonia dropped from .26 to .003 in one day? What test kit are you using I'm not sure if that's possible without a MASSIVE water change. Do you know your nitrites ph and have you used your nitrate test kit yet?

 

And I don't think so...when I got mine they started swimming immediately.

 

Yeah trust me I messed up on the .26 I put too many drops in or something but i read the directions the second time and got .003

 

Then somethings wrong with him

 

Not necessarily I have a clown that I introduced about 6 months ago and the first day or 2 he stayed to one side of the tank swimming along the glass now he has successfully mated with his partner 3 times
