Could you post some picture please, then it is better to advice?

Try to do a diagnosis of the fish with this guide: Aquarium Fish Diagnosis Charts Start Page from FishVet, Inc.

If it really is Brook, then I would recommend a freshwater dip now. Watch the fish when in the dip, try to leave him for a least 5 min in the fresh water. The parasites will "jump" off. This will bring some relief to the fish for a while.
On freshwater dips and the decease:

I have used the revive from FishVet with great success, you can even administer it directly into a reef tank, totally Invert safe.

The problem with Brook is, that if one of your fish has it, they all have it and the main tank needs to be treated.

    Good luck

The areas look a little different now that I took some pictures.. I am wondering if its an bacterial infection secondary to ich?

microbe-life make a product called artemiss... its suppose to be chemical free and for bacterial problems.. Should I give it a try?

BTW - its still hanging in there.. not as much on its side as it was... not eating but still breathing fast...

Is the finns shredded and is there a lot of extra mucus on the fish? If not I do not think it is Brook. Try the diagram I sent you, it is super difficult to determine from a photo what is wrong with the fish.

BTW what a nice clown, I really hope it will pull thru

from the chart you posted, it really seems like it has a bacterial infection...

That list has helped me a couple of times.. I would try to treat with some of the stuff from FishVet, they have saved my but a couple of times.
If there is no excess mucus and the Finns are not torn, then it is not Brook. Which is good.

I would consider a freshwater dip in case of the bacterias.

I hope it will turn out well for you.

The fish is still alive and seems even better.. This morning it actively chased the food and ate well... It still is favoring its left side but its breathing is much better.. However, the tale fin and top fin are damaged.. The spot on its left side is obviously smaller.. Not knowing much I do know the spot looks better and the fish looks stronger... Not out of the woods but now I am beginning to have hopes...
