Man looks like I really want to bit the bullet and take the big one here. Why is everyone telling me they wouldn't do it? I'm sure there has been many of people that have done it. I can remember the Jamaican dude that took everything of his out of the ocean there. Also thanks to everyone that has told me no way so far lol, and thanks to the people that have said it is possible.

    Any suggestions are welcome

Everyone who has told you not to do it has stated their reasons why you shouldn't do it so I'm not sure what else you're looking for?

If I'm not mistaken, Tin Fury is the member who lives in Jamaica. Maybe drop him a line and see how he treated his beach sand, assuming that he used it.

I ignored most of everyones intelligence and added the sand to my tank. I went thru the sand pulled out all the things I didn't want and what i tought was bad. I then baked the sand for a while. Then I cleaned it with jsut plain water in the bathtub for a while, alot of cleaning. I then pulled out everything from the tank and put in the new beach sand. I filled it back up with the LR and then let it sit for a little while. I did some of my tests and they were all fine. So i decided to add the fish and other live objects to the tank. A couple days later they are still going good. I will be rearranging some of the stuff today or tomarrow. I will post some pics and more observations if they come up.
