so i was just sitting watching tv and i hear a sudden splash from the tank and i look over to see my coral beauty swimming frantically unnaturally and ends up landing belly up on the bottom. it then got up and teetered to the nearest rock and now lies sideways on it slightly moving its fins, but still breathing. Idk what caused it i think maybe a fish attacked it, or chased it causing it to jump and hit the light, it happened too fast... help please i do not know if it will be able to swim this off!

It could have jumped because of another fish. Or stray current. How old is the tank? What are your water params? Will need these to help.

i had the exact same thing happen to mine, most likely he swallowed some air within his "air time" and it is now caught inside of him causing him to not have control over swimming. swim bladder infection, try feeding him some chopped up peas, sounds weird but ive heard it works.

ill definetly try the peas, but the fish is just laying on its side breathing, not really moving, i thought swim bladder disease is when they just have trouble swimming?
