    Hello, i've been cycling for about two weeks. No idea What these are. Was told it was part of cycling process. Just wondering if it is ok to have in tank.

    Not sure if pics will work thou...:\

    And my camera is really crappy cause don't have enough money for a good one. Sorry lol.

    looks like typical sediment/ detrius to me

    probably arrived on the rocks and got washed off during placement and settled on the sand bed

    1st water change, after cycle is finished, hover syphon above sand ( you will know if your to close) to remove it

    Congratulations on the crap farm!!

    waste product of living things on you're live rock. Peanut worms love to leave a pile next to their holes.... some times in their hole....

    Also dying bacteria that clumps together. ect.ect.ect.....

    Increasing water flow can help stir it around, so it doesn't settle as much.

    ya and also in the first pic on the top right piece of LR you have either a majano anemone or a aipstasia i would consider getting rid of it ASAP before they spread

    Oh yea. Its a Majano. I got a peppermint shrimp in there. I've heard they will get rid of them???
