Hey everyone. I need help deciding the final stock for my 125g. I am able to withstand the bio load and would like to add a few more to make the tank more colorful and lively. I am just at a loss and would like your advise on what you think would look good.

    The current stock is:
    Purple Tang
    Blue tank
    1 black ocellaris clown
    Bicolor angelfish
    1 green chromis
    Yellowtail damsel

I will be adding another clown soon but looking for any recommendations.
Please be honest with your opinions, all are welcome. Good or bad.

I am planning to add 30 lbs of dry rock to the system with the additions and that will change the scape a little so I am not worried about territory.

Thank you in advance for your help and recommendations.

    Pic of current set up.

I've been looking into them. Are they best to keep as a pair or as a trio. They respond and are more active with other flashers right? I need to get a lid if I am going with wrasse though.

Anything else cool that I don't even know about?

Anthias..... bartletts, lyretail..... 3-5+ Lots of activity, color, speed, ahhh anthias :)

Wrasses... I love wrasses, can't go wrong with most IMO. My flasher hides alot, I only have one and not really any aggressive fish, probably going to toss a couple more in soon and see if it livens up. Hands down my favorite group of fish.

firefish.... not amazingly active, not super colorful, but adding 2-3 has always been on my list of things to do lol

Are you dead set on keeping the damsel.... I know yellowtails are more peaceful then some but they are still damsels and will still act like them. I removed mine as it was messing with my leopards (in my 180 even)..... that don't fly ;)

    Thank you. Good options.

Lol, funny you ask that about the yellow tail. I saved him from bein bullied to death in a 12g nano. Almost no tail and looked like death. I moved home to my 80g and he recovered spectacular. (Awesome right.(sarcasm)) he's been alive and kicking ever since. He di a little bullying in the 80 and I thought he would be good in the 125g but he is still a damsel and I cannot catch him. He is a big pita. I should have let the nano inhabitants have at him. But me being me I saved him. Should have regimes him when I upgraded. Well what can I do I didn't so if he is an a hole I'll take care of him.

    Thanks again for your advise.

I wouldn't try adding firefish to your tank with the established tangs as they may decide to bully them.

I do like the basslets and the anthias.

    Thank you.

Thank you for the advise. I know these would be one of my wife's choices so not getting them would be best. Thanks again.

I do like the Midas blenny but I was thinking I wanted a yellow watchman goby. And I know they don't play nice thank you.

I forgot to mention that. I would like to get a ywg but am afraid that he will cover corals on the substrate with substrate. Is that what would happen?

Thank you for the help. Still would like options. Thank you for your time.

+3 on the Midas Blenny! They really are column swimmers for the most part. They usually pick their home on one spot in a rock in the tank where they sleep. Most of their day is swimming the column though. No issues at all with Gobies that I know of. I have mine with a Tiger Wardi Goby, and they never interact at all.
