    I melted my middle support beam will my aquarium be ok or will i need to replace it? Man i cant believe i did this I placed this light on top of my aquarium so i could see it better and i forgot about it here is some pics of the light and the support beam.....

    get it fixed asap as the middle will take more pressure then bust from one of the corners or worse the centre
    :)

    is it silcone and glass or acrylic

    its an all glass aquarium all though there is silicone in the corners of the aquarium but it said all glass on it

    go down to your hardware store or home depot and get some aquarium safe silicone and a caulking gun and get to work bro ... i would empty the tank in a big cattle feed tub (see geekdafied for this hes the man) and dry it out then repair and let dry for at least 48hrs ..

    as long as nothing is against the front or back glass, there will not be a problem
