    You need to be calling the tank Mfg and get a new top on order. I had to replace the top on a 55 gal and it took me a little over a week to get the part in after order. I would call Perfecto and see if they make one. Make sure when you put the new top on you seal all the way around then inner side of the top so when water splashes inside the tank it wont trickle down the glass on the outside of the tank...been there done that! :-/

    hey mattgeezer thanks for the karma on my tank i thought i ordered a 60 gal reg but apperantly not but i will make my 60 gal tall work... we will see any recomendations on it and i would be extremly greatful

    I haven't seen anyone comment on this already but I may have missed it. For a temporary fix you can use a large wood clamp to hold the two long panes in. It's not pretty but will work for a while and can be used to keep pressure off whatever brace you decide to install while it sets up too.

    I have a 46 bow that someone replaced the brace with a strip of clear acrylic. If I remember correctly he cut the stock strip leaving a little nub at each end where he then drilled two holes for nylon screws and nuts and then just screwed in the acrylic strip. I din't think it was too pretty, but it's functional I guess.
