Hello everyone i had a saltwater tank about 10 years ago and now that im older and understand a little more about the hobby
I started a 125 gal about 3 weeks ago all was going great and then bam my water parameters skyrocketed ammonia nitrite and nitrates are all at their highest
Is that just due to the cycling process or whats going on and yes it does have damsels in it i know thats not good..any advice on what i should do

I'm thinking it would be part of the cycle - although they usually don't all spike to highest levels. I'd do a water change and then check values.

What are the values and what test kits are you using?

Ride it out. You are going through the nitrogen cycle and shame on you for putting the Damsels in there.
I would not do water changes until the ammonia and nitrites have dropped and the nitrates are rising. When you change the water you export the bacteria or food the beneficial bacteria are consuming to form the nitrates which you will then export by water changes. Its a natural cycle.

As asked above, what are you testing with and what are the levels? We all know test kits like the API liquid master kit are not the best but for the initial cycle they get the job done. Once things are under control it pays to have better kits like Salifert or others.
