Help ID, leather and sps

Hey everyone. Need help IDing this leather. For so long I haven't know what it is. Started the size of my fist, now it's the size of my head.

This sps was a frag I got from a local reefer for free and don't know what it is.

The sps looks like a Digitata?

The leather I have no clue, other than it might be leather.

Does it ever show any polyps?

Leather kind of looks like a cabbage leather, though its hard to tell from the picture.

I'm agreeing with Corailline on the monti digi for SPS, though a closer picture with daylights would definitely help.

 

The leather could be a Devil's Hand.

Digital it is.

Leather it is but no it does not have or ever ha polyps. It is more of a leathery (no pun) texture. Rough looking like sandpaper kinda.

 

I don't think it's a cabbage. It does not have a plate look to it. That's what I thought for a while.

 

Maybe, I don't know. It doesn't finger like the devils hand leather. It's seriously the shape of a rhinoceros head. That's what we've called it because we don't know what it really is.

I vote call NASA. Seriously though, I do not know of any leather that does not show polyps.

 

I say devils hand. I have had one for months now that has never showrd polyps.
