Help ID please

    I was inspecting my LR because my son said he saw something moving and I found something odd sprouting from a small opening in the LR. There are 4 "feeler-like" things probing the rock from the crack. 3 of them look banded with white rings and appear more translucent then the 4th "probe" which seems a snail like gray color. It is also the most active of the feelers. Thanks for any help. Oh, and it's way too small for my garbage camera to photo right now.

    Doing a little checking. Maybe a peanut worm??? Or spaghetti worm??? Anyone have experience with these? Thanks...

    Actually, that is an intriguing guess. Here is a photo of the featherstar. And it does look banded like that. Guess I'll have to keep watching. :)

    maybe a brittle star

    i saw dark banded projections coming from a crack in my LR and it turned out to be this guy. better chance checking him out at night. i do believe they are night dwellers.

    Cool, thanks. I just turned my lights off, so I'm going to camp him for a little while. I hope he comes out. hehe
