Help Identify this Coral

    I need some help identifying this coral, my LFS really couldn't give me too much info on it, but I just had to have it.

    Nice grab! I don't think I could have resisted that one either.

    I'll guess merulina, but I'm not overly confident in that. Hopefully someone here knows more.

    I was thinking the same along with "chalice" maybe, as long as I'm somewhat in the vicinity of it's family for "care" I should be ok (I hope at least). It's placed middle depth in my tank with moderate flow, with no light restrictions and away from other coral in case it's "aggressive".

    I vote merulina. Sps coral I believe but not as light hungry as traditional acropora.

    I've bleached them pretty easily in the past. I would start it out pretty low to be on the safe side. They bleach a lot faster than they suffer from low light.
