Help ID'ing thing on live rock

    Just spotted these pink things on my live rock. What do you guys think they could be? This is the corner my ocellaris pair 'host', and when I was looking at them, I spotted these out the corner of my eye.

    Hmm maybe a CORYACTIS = Strawberry Anemone ...?? I i know from the pic i don't see any sweeper tenicales but just a guess...

    Sorry for not replying quickly. They've now changed quite a lot, and look like the makings of something else - looks like algae that's really thick, but strawberry pink. Only a small patch, so I'll keep on top of checking it and post here if anything else happens!

    I have seen some real pretty pink macro algae. I would let it grow and see what it is.

    Safe to say that if there are aliens in my tank, they're going in the refugium (;

    Definitely gonna let it grow, really interesting stuff!
