Hi I've never done reef and without reef knowledge I've been able to keep two anemones in my tank which has standard twin tube bulbs that are 10 k in the back and full actinic in the front what type of lighting do I need for corals and for the lighting that I'm currently using should it be closer to the front, back or middle of my tank.

depends what corals you want to keep really
a 125 is a 6ft tank I believe - so you could go 6 or even 8 x 80 watt T5s and that would give you a lot of coral options as far as lighting is concerned

and spread them over the tank from middle outwards

you do have a couple of existing inhabitants that might/ probably will/ cause issues
chocolate chip stars can and do snack on corals - GSPS where consumed by one I ended up moving - and the dwarf angels being in the tank before the corals, may regard them as interesting menu items.

    just my thoughts

aquamedic turbo flotor - thats a class skimmer IMO ( seen one here it looks great)
I have the Aquamedic catalogue and the MH ligt units also look like great kit to me

seems like a decent price also to me
if it looks OK and doesnt leak ( check before you buy when its used)

also one other thing - if it was a reef tank - Ok probably no worries, but if it was a FOWLR you need to ask about copper treatments - as copper gets absorbed into the rocks, silicone and other things and can leach later - if the silicone has a greeny blue tint- suspect copper has been used at some point

you can get a Seachem product called Cuprizorb, which may be a good idea just in case as it willl absorb any copper that may be in the system

good luck and hope it all works well
