    Turbo floaters are alright, I would take an ASM over it anyday... Heck I would take my Octo Extreme that is giving me heck over it.

    With a 125 you will need 3 250w MH to grow corals great but if you are not as concerned about SPS or getting awesome growth 3 175w will cut it. 6 T5s would be great for most SPS and will cost you less than the MH BUT if you are getting the MH with the tank go for it.

    Is the tank in decent shape? Have you seen it?

    Thanks i have a 40 and 50 gal FOWLR that i will be transfering into my other 125 my neighbor wants to go half and buy the Craiglist 125 but is not doing salt so i would be getting those lights and the filtration for the 125 i already own which im thinking of trying my hand at reef
