Help! Is my monti gone?

With work and school schedule I unfortunately haven't seen my tank with the lights on in about a month. Today when I did I'm horrified to see my Idaho grape almost completely white.

Its kinda hard to see but you can make out the line where there is still some purple though even that is faded dramaticly.
I haven't been able to do any tests yet on the water, will late tonight or tomorrow night, work again bleh.
I am looking for any specific suggestions to teat for, ideas on what could have caused this, and mire important is it saveable?

It certainly is not doing well. I've had a piece close to that come back, but it took a long time.

 

I would cut some frags of what's left and ditch the rest.It's really the only thing you can do at this point.Good luck.

Hard to tell from pic. But if its totally white it may come back. I bought a group of sps in a day or two they turned completely white. In a few weeks all of their color came back.

 

I bit the bullet and fragged it up last night. Man it hurt me to cut it. Have had it over 2 years and went from 2 pieces half dinner plate size almost each to 4 silver dollar size drags
