is that a Haitian Anemone? usually their foot is bright orange/red...does it have pink tips? If it is a Haitian the foots color looks verrrrrry pale...not to scare you, my purple condy has a purple base and its very healthy...feed it in a couple days and it should be happy...mabie your lights are getting old???? it cant be getting that much light under a ledge either!!!

Well after scaring the crap out of me this a.m. he seem to be doing well. I think he is a Condylactis passiflora, the (Florida) Pink-Tipped Anemone.... He attached to that rock, I turned it right side up so he could get the light and he moved back under the ledge.

Anemones will decompose very fast when they die, since they are mainly water and soft tissue. If you ever get a bad feeling that it may be dead, pull it out of the water and smell it. Even when dead, they can still remain attached to the rock. Feed it a little piece of meaty food and see if it reacts normally to it, i.e. grabbing it with its tentacles, "taco-shelling" and bringing the food to its mouth. It may just be a case of dropped pH in your tank due to the powere outtage why he deflated.
