    Hi Guys,

Got the Anemone yesterday, for the clowns it suddenly moved today and is under a rock ( not stuck ) looks healthy. I have good water conditions and all fish are healthy. Lighting is 2 X 24w attinic coralstar and 150 watt MH.
Do I move the anemone again or just let him find his own spot. Sorry if this is a dumb question.

    Regards,

    Ian

I was one of the "lucky ones." My anemone stayed right where it was placed. But, if you read around the forums you will find out that they are wanderers... They like to get stuck in powerheads, get into uplift tubes and generally be a pain sometimes. If you let it wander, the general consensus is that it will find a spot it likes and eventually settle down ;)

Anenomes go where they wanna go. Useless to try and move to another location. Just let him wander and eventually he will find a "happy place."

I bought a rose bubble tip a while back for my tomato clown. It was love at first sight. He rather stayed put for a while and then one morning I got up and he had split. the funny thing is that they both eat well and look well, but only 1 of them likes to wander. The other just stays put. The worst problem is for the fish, some days he cannot decide which to rub in!

Same problem Ian. I put a perfectly hosted clown and anenome in a relatively new tank. The anenome was very attached to a rock at the fish store so I bought the rock too hoping that he would stay with the rock. Nope. He detached within 3 hours and went wandering. Now he's in the back of an island and not visible but incredibly healthy and after 3 days the clown is back with it. So I'm going to live with that. I might get another and see if it stays in the front of the tank.
