HELP!!!! low PH killed fish?

    it is on, i retested the water, alk seems like 2.5ish maybe? and i redid the others others, Ammonia still 0, Nitrites showed 0.25 this time, and Nitrates are now showing 5.0, and its a 25 gallon tank with aqua clear pumps ( i have always used these)

    Yes, i know about the lions but at this point nd time the clowns were much larger then the lion, But we are pretty sad after his death so I dont think we will be buying any dwarfs any time soon, I will no be using tap anymore

    also, 3 years back i had a dwarf lion with my clowns and never had a problem,( that tank ad been taken down, due to a move

    For corals alk should be at 4-4.5

    Still don't recommend it, its in there nature to eat smaller fish.

    either you have some wicked bad tap water or your test kits are garbage.

    i hope they are not, they were not cheap... i think they are by red sea
    and the last time i did a 10% water change my levels went a little wack

    he fish have perked up with the added airation,they are actually swimming and not laying. but my corals are sucking up more, the ph test color has risen a slight amoutn

    well I guess bad test kits don't kill fish directly.
    your corals may take a while to rebound.
