Help: LTA eating its tenticle???

Not sure why its doing this, but i woke up this morning and turned the lights on, I noticed my LTA is eating itself!!? I got a picture if it helps. This anemone has grown double in size in three months. also i have noticed the color has darkened alot too since its growth. My percula clowns have deserted it for a magnifica anemone, and a clown goby has moved in. is this something i need to worry about ? is it normal that it starts to eat its self? also it was fed the night before....silversides

 

I think it is just licking his fingers after dinner.
