got home from work today and look in my tank and saw that my torch coral wasn't as big and open as usual. after further inspection i have found that tentacles accross all heads have like little pierced marks or something like they have popped but it is on all heads and i definentely dont think anything is eating it because the holes are all in the same spot...is my little torch going to die?! :(

dont panic just yet, Mine does this from time to time and its just how they act.

How long has it been in the tank?

what are the other tank inhabitants?

    what are your paramaters ?

also is there a chance that you could post a pic?

I must insist that if you can post the parameters specificaly this will only help,

    salinity
    ph
    cal
    mag
    nitrate
    nitrite
    phosphate
    temp

have you noticed if the clown or pep. shrimp have been messing with it?

the temp being a little high might have had somthing to do with it, mine dosent like drastic temp swngs but it just makes him mad.

again mine acts like that from time to time and there is nothing wrong, it might be using the bathroom or even growing.

I honestly can say that it might be nothing... he may be in that mood today and if no one has been messing with him, I really dont think it is anything major. I would definatly watch him and make sure but try not to mess with anything it will only make it worse. also watch the shrimo to make sure he isnt the culprit.

P.S I am not a expert but I have one that worrys me some times to LOL ;D
