hey all i have decided to make a sump for my 8x2x2 hoever i do not want to have to drill holes into my aquarium is there a way around this?
i am thinking about using a 3x18x2, where can i find some plans to make one with out having holes in my 8x2x2?

i am planning to have 3 compartments in my sump 2 for media and 1 for the pump to pump water back to my tank

ok i just read i can use a overflow box...what brands can i trust as i dont want a puddle:p

Eshopps are the cheapest ones with a good reputation. Iv also heard good things about CPR boxes but they cost much more.

Eshopps are by far the best. CPR's are a serious flood hazard, I would avoid them if possible.

Lifereef's are good, but I have to ask why you would be so adverse to having the tank drilled for an overflow that won't ever give you a chance for a soggy floor?
