    after how long without eating should i start getting concerened, after all he has only been in there for two days, although i purchased a hippo tang a week ago with no signs of ich and began eating right away, i guess i got lucky with that one

    I am honestly not sure how long a tang can go without eating. I guess it would depend on how healthy he was to begin with. If he still looks pretty fat, then I wouldn't worry too much.

    I have 4 Tangs right now, (Purple, Chevron, Naso and Hippo) All of them ran for food in the aquarium as soon as they where introduced (Left overs from the veggie clip). My naso started getting Picky, I started Soaking all their food in Vitamins and Garlic, It got him back on track.

    Best of wishes with the Powder Brown... (When I got my hippo tang from my LFS, he was still in the shipping bag... I took him in the state cause I was worried about the multiple acclimations in such a short time)
