    If u go to big on the skimmer the foam will come to a climax and will stop skimming... Do u have a heavy bioload? I would recommend an ams g series or the vertex is nice too

    i run a vertex in100 and it is awesome. super quiet too.

    obv my vote is for the vertex.

    i have the vortex in80 running right now. Its only been running for like 4 days and i dont think it is really broken in yet, but its still foaming up really nicely. I like the ease of use with it. I read that they can take up to like 2 weeks for it to be fully broken in and consistent with skimming.
