    Hey Everyone,

I've been MIA for a little while now, but my tank is still running strong and I just ordered some more additions to my CUC.

    Now, down to business...

I have my 75 gallon DT and would like to add one of the smaller Bristletooth Tang species, but was wondering if anyone could provide a good list of options. I am looking for something with nice colors (throughout both the juvenile and adult stages) and one that typically is less aggressive.

I know about the Tomini, Two Spot, Kole, and Whitetail varities and am currently leaning heavily toward the Whitetail because of its beautiful red coloration. the only problem is that no one seems to have them available.

Are there any others that I am missing that could be housed in a 75g?

I think the yellow eye Kole would be your best bet in a 75g. The Whitetail is pretty but I've never seen one and I work at a LFS. The yellow eye is very similar (more available), a little less brilliant but I had one and thought it was very pretty. Most of the really brilliant colored Tangs are all going to be too large for a 75g system IMO. I mean you can get a small one and sell it or upgrade as it gets larger, that's up to you.

My favorite tangs are the Powder Blue, Achilles, & Clown, but again all of them need the 100+ tanks.

Yea, I am trying not to get any of the larger species because I don't want to have to rehouse it later.

a smaller yellow may work. You could order the whitetail from liveaquaria. I don't always trust shipping, but that is up to you.[IMG] They also have this, Squaretail bristletooth

That one is actually pretty cool, but I wonder what it looks like as an adult. Many of the bristeltooth tangs lose their vibrant colors as they age, but I've heard the whitetail keep their red color.

Hmmm...it looks a bit plain for my preference. I think I may go with a two spot or kole, if I can't get the Whitetail.

If you can find one, Get the Whitetail, they are really neat. I've never seen them at my Lfs, So if I wanted one I would have to order it through my lfs or online.

You could try the blue eyed kole or a mimic tang.
