Help me choose between these two skimmers

I've got the extreme 200 myself and love it, also the only one i've tried. I don't have any trates in my tank ever, 0, but also have 115# of rock, 1lb per gallon. Bubbles are so micro fine it looks like smoke blowing around. IMO best bang for the buck

 

Good first post to see ... thats the skimmer I was leaning towards, I just wanted to make sure there weren't some horror stories I didn't hear about until after I already ordered it.

 

The fittings are metric but I would turn the output back down into the sump, kills alot of the noise which is the only draw back. I think i used a 2 1/2" elbow and filed out the inside to fit over the output if I remember correctly.

 

definitely go with the Extreme as it uses an off the shelf Sicce pump. If ever a problem it will be easy to find a replacement.
