So today I met a lady from our local forum to get some free calupura (she even gave me a free mushroom) :) , she has a beautiful tank that is being invaded by some kind of algae. At first when I saw her pic I thought it looked like bryopsis, but never having it myself I wasn't sure and she doesn't think it looks like it. What do you think?

It is very coarse and does not seem to be choking corals, in fact, the GSP has grown over it.

Here is another kind of algae she has that she is wondering about...

Now this one here is different than the top three pics, it's growing on a powerhead... it's similar looking but a little more hairy... (sorry the pic isnt that great)

She said she's going to make an account here so hopefully she'll chime in on the thread :)

That actually looks pretty cool, but I have no idea what it is.

Welcome to 3reef goingpoor. I don't know the exact name of that algae, but it just looks like reasonable unthreatening macroalgae. What size tank do you have? My Yellow Tang and Emerald Crabs love stuff like that. If you don't like it those guys would definitely help cut it down.

There are three kinds there, what about the other two? The 2nd red one is kind of cool, but I wonder about the third one?

That looks like the same stuff I have been having a problem with. unfortunately I don't know what it is but it covers all my rocks and has spread to the CC. Mine isn't as long because my seahare keeps it trimmed but it is very coarse.
If you don't stop it it will end up covering everything as you can see from the pic.

The first photos look to be Chlorodesmis fastigiata, aka Turtle weed very common problem in aquariums

The second red algae is Amphiroa valonioides algae

The last looks like it may be Bryopsis plumosa ):
