number one is probably chaetomorpha area. (We usually keep chaetomorpha crassa or linum) You would be able to tell under 10x magnification when you see the cell structure. I can't post the image I have though b/c of copyright. Might be able to find it with google. Second looks like a gracilaria species. Many, many different species of gracilaria, again magnification is necessary, But luckily for you it isn't Coelothrix, or Gelidium as they are more pest like. Just simply remove it form the tank, should only take a minute. number 3 I think is regular old hair algae, just real big and nasty. Try to work on the parameters in your tank, or the algae removal maintenance and you should be able to get it under control.

I know #1 isn't cheato, I have plenty of it and I actually just gave her some that day. That stuff in the pic is actually very tough and adheres to the rock.

#3 I think is bryopsis. Unfortunately I have plenty of GHA in my tank and it's totally different.

She has so much of #1 in her tank, I think it kind of looks pretty but I can imagine that it's a pain. I hope she can get it under control! Thanks for the input everyone!
