I would say chances are very good.

Perhaps pagojoe will chime in if you ask for snail type id in the title.

    Do you have clams?

Look kinda like it. PagodaJoe is a pro at inverts so I'll bump it to him. Try removing a few and taking macro mode picture on a solid color background to give him a better pic for positive ID

    As do you have clams?

Put them against a dark backround, or better yet, lift up one of your clams, if they are on the base or edge of the shell they are Pyramids.

They are not on or near the clams. Just on the glass. My phone isn't working with me. Only way I could get a closer shot was to take a mini video and it was blurry too. Not much help, sorry

You can google images of Pyramids though and compare appearance. There are different types of Pyramidellidae that are not parasitic. However you have clams and these snails look nocturnal.

Give a shout out to pagojoe.

Also look on your bigger snails like turbo to make sure they are not there.

They are. I'd seen them there before but never thought anything about them. Yes they ate nocturnal. I will look at more images and compare. Seems right though.

If they're nocturnal, don't hang around your turbinids or clams, and look like they are grazing around the rocks and glass, they are probably rissoids rather than pyramidellids. They can look almost exactly alike, though. Unless I found them associated with my other snails or clams, I wouldn't worry about them.

    Cheers,
