Bought this a a month or 2 ago and haven't really seen a change. Think it's supposed to have tubes off the top. Moved it too the bottom of my 46 and it turned brown on part now it's mid. Should I remove the frag plug and glue to rocks (just can't figure out what light it likes) ? Tank has 2-120 LEDs dimmed and all other corals are healthy, water good. [IMG]

Wish I could help with an ID (Gonipora maybe), but it does look to be on its way out.

I would leave it alone and keep my hand out of the tank.

Looks possibly like a sun coral on its way out. Low light and fed daily since its not photosynthetic. Thats if I'm right.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Need an image straight on and closer, at least at a better angle, without as much blue.

    Gold Galaxea

The Gold Galaxea (Galaxea fascicularis) is not a common galaxea, and should be shown respect for this awesome coral. This coral needs room, and doesn't like neighbors, but with room it will be the coolest coral in your aquarium. The Galaxea often gets a bad name for it's sweepers that can extend out. THe Length they extend is highly dependent on the amount of flow they are in. If kept in a medium flow they should be given a few inches on each side and above to keep from having problems.
