The only thing I switched recently was brands of salts. I now use tropic marin pro-reef. Has anyone had any problems with it?

its not bubble algae the bubbles you are seeing in his pic is the algae releasing gasses from dieing off. plus he describes it as a short grass.

Water change weekly/now, cut back on feeding (every other day x 1wk), your lighting cycle is probably on too long (cut back to 9hrs. max).

I know it's not bubble algae because I have seen that before. This is short grass and sometimes it will get like little air bubbles. Thank you seabass I will definetly try. Also going to replace rowaphos, it is about a month old. And just bought a tds meter off of ebay to check and is if my ro/di is working. Does anyone else have any suggestions...

Nano reefer- thank you for your input. When I did a search for dinoflagellates I seen some picture of it that looked kinda like grassy stuff. They say to raise ph to 8.5, cut lights down to fours a day, and cut down on feeding. If it is that, do you have any other suggestions on how to get rid of. They also say get rid of phosphate for most algae problems so my reactor or ro/di is not working right.

Well, it is not my ro/di filters because I bought a tds meter and it reads 1 ppm and our regular water reads 171 ppm so they are definetly working. cut lighting down and is still coming back. Next step is to change the rowaphos and do another water change. Any other suggestions?
